Welcome to the website of Matthew Scott a freelance illustrator based in London.
I work on various projects from childrens books to editorials and poster designs.
Since graduating from Kingston university in 2008 with a first class honours degree
in illustration and animation i have put on on exhibitons in kingston and central london aswell as having my work displayed across the UK and in Brazil.
My work can also be seen on many websites including the Adobe software design pages and in various magazine and newspaper articles such as artist and illustrators magazine, nickelodeon magazine and weekly dig.
I am currently looking for a publisher that i can develop a good partership with, who knows...maybe that's you?.
Recent awards include 'Best New Blood' at the 2008 D&AD awards for my pack of
30 promotional postcards and First place in the student catagory of the Cheltenham illustration awards 2008
for my book entitled 'The Diver'.
I have also worked alongside Cartoon network, Nickelodeon and Oxford University press on recent projects.
I am curently excepting freelance jobs inbetween working on various book projects. And of course feedback/comments are always welcomed with open arms.
